Purchase Invoice is a transaction document which gives details of the product purchased and also the date of purchase etc.For example a Purchase Invoice for a pc will include all the components of the pc like processor ,etc and the purchase time .

An invoice is: 1) a written record of a transaction that describes the goods and/or services rendered and 2) a request for payment. If the grocery store handed you the cash register receipt and told you to pay the amount on the receipt, they would be treating their receipt like an invoice. A purchase invoice is the final receipt that is obtained on buying merchandise. It's a bill type paper that has the info of all the goods and their prices along with discount information and other info. It tells the buyer all the purchases he made, along with their prices and the total amount that the buyer has to pay. Any kind of purchase receipt can be an example of it.
