Is There More Variety Shopping Online Than In The Actual Store?

Answer Question

There can be. Online stores tend to offer a wider range of products that may not necessarily be available at the actual store, particularly if the store is quite small.

The reason being for this is that when the store sells products online, it is usually from a central point rather than a specific store. A store may have sold out of a particular product, but you still may be able to purchase it from online. Also, shopping online rather than at the store may earn you extra points if you have a loyalty card.

You may also have more choice online due to the fact that some offer recommendations, i.e. similar items to ones you have already purchased.

On the other hand, supermarket stores, such as ASDA, may not offer all the items online that are in the actual stores. For example, ASDA have an entertainment section where you can purchase televisions and DVD players, but these aren't actually available online.
