    Human heart in normal adults weigh 250-350 grams or 9-12 oz. The size of heart is about the size of clenched fist in the children while in adults it is twice the size of a clenched fist. When a person suffers from hypertrophy, a heart disease then his heart can weigh up to 1000 grams or 2 pounds.
