Why Are So Many Americans So Enthusiastic About Obama?
Yes,its cool he is the 1st african american president,and hes a good speaker,but beyond that,whats the reason behind schools wanting to change their name in tribute to him,and so many get upset if anyone questions him,seems to be a huge emotional issue 4 so many.I sincerely hope he is very successful as pres.,but shouldnt we wait a while to see how he does before we rename schools and such?

I guess so many people were unhappy (putting it mildly) with Bush , they are jut hoping a new president can bring much needed change.

Many people are amazed by the change that Obama promises i for one have seen only the same things bush did after all he supports war(israel) just like his predecessor and if you don't believe that he israel did not start any wars most of the terrorist groups we have to deal with today started when israel decided to do something which was wrong

Because anything is better than the status quo corruption of the last 8 years. I agree though, we need to step back, take a breath and see how it goes from here. There shouldn't be too much praise OR damnation.
