    The Young Jedi Knights series comprises fourteen novels that are a part of the Star Wars series. The books were written by the husband-wife duo of Kevin J. Anderson and Rebecca Moesta.

    The titles in the series are Heirs of the Force, Shadow Academy, The Lost Ones (all in 1995), Lightsabers, Darkest Knight, Jedi Under Siege (all in 1996), Shards of Alderaan, Diversity Alliance, Delusions of Grandeur, Jedi Bounty, The Emperor's Plague (all in 1997), Return to Ord Mantell, Trouble on Cloud City and Crisis at Crystal Reef (all in 1998).

    The series revolves around the Jedi training of Jacin and Jaina Solo, the fourteen-year-old twin children of Han and Leia Organa Solo. Jacin is Han and Leia Organa Solo's son and Jaina is Jacin's sister. The series begins in the galactic year 23 ABY.
