She is an indoor pet, only out to use the bathroom, my concern is how long will I have to walk her out without worrying about the male dogs trying to get at her.
I have a rat terrier mix female and her heats usually last for one week of bleeding and then it is about one week after the bleeding that she will still smell in heat for the males. Give her two weeks and she should be out of it. I know that it is hard to deal with the wild male hormones wanting to get to her but it doesn't last forever. You will be fine and she will come out of it.
