    The physical quantity is the physical property of an object with can be measured as a numerical value. The physical quantities are expressed in units. The main seven physical quantities are mass, volume, area, distance, speed, acceleration and energy. The standard international units and symbols for these quantities are;

    Mass = m = kilogram

    Volume = V = meter cube

    Area = A = meter square

    Distance = S = meter

    Speed = V = meter per second

    Acceleration = a = meter per second square

    Energy = E = joule
