First if you are going out of country or will be stopping in a foreign port - you will need a Passport!

Then check out the various cruise line companies - do a search on the net. Also check out any travel agencies in your area. A travel agent may find you a very good package deal.

And you may want to try the internet sites like pice line or cheap seats etc

search for discount cruises.

My first cruise was to the Greek Islands, a 5 day trip, midum size ship, but a very unforgetable experience.

Next time you can choose a big one with 7 or 9 days cruise, it's a wonderful experience, then you will compare and have nice cruise conversations with the new friends you are going to meet in the ship.
