Have your cat examined by a veterinarian. They will do a thorough oral exam of the cat's mouth. Dental tarter and abscessed teeth can cause halitosis (bad breath). Oral masses can also cause bad breath. Oral odor can change with different types of food as well. Your veterinarian will educate you on proper oral care for cats--teeth brushing, dental wipes, and chews to prevent tarter and fight halitosis.
