I Found Out My Hamsters Had Babies On July Third. It Is July 14th. Should I Separate The Mom And The Dad?
I don't know what to do with my adult hamsters because they had babies and i don't want anymore. I only saw one of the babies .

Yes separate the mom and the dad but not the mom and the babies you always separate the mom and the dad and when the hamsters get older they all need to be in a separate cage because as adult hamsters they will fight and try to kill one another...and if you don't find out the sex of the babies then they could mate and have more hamsters....You see hamsters are very territorial and they also would much rather be alone....I know i find that odd to...but it's true if you leave any two adult hamsters together they could get what is called wet tail and die...I am a certified animal specialist and for more information you could always log on or visit or even call your local petco and they will be happy to assist you...thanks.
