This is a great area to walk in, stretching out towards the Zomba plateau.The climate is a tropical highland climate, with an average summer temperature of 24 degrees C and a winter average of 12C making for a mild and pleasant climate year round.

Another activity that could be fun is horse riding in the highland tea plantations, an area with a wonderful fresh temperate climate. Few people realise that Malawi is a premier tea growing area, and have these lovely quiet paths that exist for horse riding.
