How Do I Change The Fuel Pump On A 1997 Dodge Intrepid?

I'm trying to change the fuel pump, and I wasnt sure if I would have to take the whole tank off or not. I am having trouble starting the car and it is getting a spark and is trying to turn over, but it seems like the fuel pump just isnt getting anything to the engine. I checked the fuses and they are good also. Gonna check the relays next, but was trying to find out about the pump now

Check throttle position sensor    but you have to drop the tank in order to change the fuel pump.

The fuel pump is located in the fuel tank on the Intrepid. You access the fuel tank via the trunk. Remove the trunk carpeting and then right in back of the back seat you will notice 4 nuts holding down the fuel tank access cover. Remove those to get at the fuel pump. At least you will not have to drop the tank to get to it.
