    Where Does Lightning Strike The Most?

    In what geographic location of the world does lightning strike the most? Is there a specific location that registers been struck the most?

    According to this article, in Central Africa Lightning Strike the most because Central Africa has thunderstorms all the year and so the chances of lighting striking over there is also more.

      I found out that it occurs in the Democratic Republic of Kongo in Africa, followed by Colombia, South America.  Areas near the equator are more likely to get hit
