    Yosemite National Park is a very famous national park in the United States of America. It is situated in the Mariposa and Tuolumne counties of the state of California. The national park is 1,200 square miles which extends towards the mountain regions of Sierra Nevada. More than two million people all over the world visit this park in a particular year. It is one of the most visited sights of America after the Niagara Falls in the state of New York.

    Most of the development of the park was done by John Muir. There are many species of animals, birds and plants in the park. It is also the home of many rare species of animals such as Mule deer, Black bear, owls and many more such animals. People usually go there for cycling, hiking and rock climbing.

    During the winter season, it becomes a home for many skiers. It also has the world's best downhill skiing tracks.
