Suboxone stays in the system 3-7 days depending on your dose. Suboxone normally isn't tested for and will not cause you to fail a drug test.

I hope you are right! I am not at all being arrogant, but is your answer based on facts or opinion? Ive just heard so many different answers when I ask this, and I really need to know the facts. I am not even sure if this drug test screens for suboxone, but I cannot take any chances!

Only the prescribing doctor or clinic will test for suboxone. It isn't tested for in a regular drug test.

This isn't true at all. I though the same thing a few months ago. I was using suboxone to get high over the weekend and mid-week I went to see my probation officer and failed a drug test for suboxone. He let it slide but made me come back the next week and even after not doing them for 2 weeks I still failed a drug test the following week. So you're greatly misinformed.

I'm using my friends pee for my drug test she will be giving it to me Monday and the test is Weds. I need it cause I have weed in my system and she has prescribed the same meds as me if I freeze it and take it out that day will it be ok?

Hey man im a medical assistant your friends piss has to be 96 degrees i give urine test so i no man make sure its 96 degrees when u put it in

Thats a dam good question buprenorphine is synthetic and a long acting opioid antagonist so how long does the drug stay in your system for surely with these longer life antagonist opioids the drug can stay in your system for upto 14 days after the last dose after high dose prolonged use as with long acting agonist opioids like methadone i dont know if the naltrexone in suboxone affects the buprenorpines effects in any way or not and varies to subutex???

I am on suboxone and currently tested for EVERYTHING due to being involved with child protection. Suboxone does not show up as an opiate or any other drug. They would have to specifically order a completely different test than all the other standard panel tests and test for it separately.

I am due to be tested for the same thing and sound like im in the same situation, any advice. It is in a child custody case and CYS is investigating us both. I am prescribed Oxys by my doctor for epilepsy and back nerve damage, I didnt want CYS to know so I asked my generl Dr to give me something to stop the Oxys? They want to drug test me and they watch you pee, what can I expect?
