Where Is Pasadena California ?

Los Angeles County holds this city of Pasadena. It is in California United States. California is encircled by Oregon, Nevada, Arizona an d Mexico. Large part of its border is the Pacific Ocean.

Pasadena covers an area of 60 sq Km and holds a population of 133,936. It is positioned at 34.09'22" N latitude and 118.07'55" Wlongitude. Bill Bogaard (December, 2006) is the mayor of this city. The ten communities bordering the city are Glendale, South Pasadena, San Marino, Arcadia, Sierra Madre, La Canada Flintridge, Eagle Rock, Galvenza and Altadena.

Hotel Green built in1887 is worth seeing. This place, which was a private residence in 1898 is now used for mentally impaired and senior citizens. Pasadena houses the famous California Institute of Technology, Fuller Theological Seminary and Art Centre College of Design. Pasadena sees a Tournament of Roses Parade on January 1, every year. Psadena is famous for its variety of wild parrots. The Pasadena Civic Auditorium hosted the Annual Emmy Awards till 2001.
