What Is MAN, Wireless Network And Network Works?

MAN stands for Metropolitan Area Networks. Metropolitan Area Networks (MAN) is the bigger version of Local Area Network (LAN) and normally used for same purpose. Metropolitan Area Networks (MAN) is used for group of nearby corporate offices or a city or for public or private network. Two or more cables are used to attach the computers and are related to the local cable television network. Mobile computers such as Laptop, note book and Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) are best example of wireless networks. With the help of mobile computer you can easily connect to office Local Area Network (LAN). Lots of interests have been developed in wireless networks such as we can use computers in cars and airplanes that are not possible in wired connections. Internet is network of networks or we can also define internet as collection of Local Area Network (LAN) connected by Wide Area Network. There are many networks consisting of different hardware and software .Internet works are mostly use to connect one or more network in order to provide communicate between peoples of two different networks. Internet works are also used to connect different networks together sometimes using machines called gateways.
