It has something to do with cryptology,data encryption,data security which I have a little understanding of.Any enlightening details on this will be appreciated.
"Lucifer" was the name given to the project that involved several of the very first civilian developed block ciphers. The name of the guy at the forefront of the development was Horst Feistel, who worked at IBM.
