Is A Bulldog A Good House Dog?
I am considering getting a bulldog but not sure if that is a bad choice.

Firstly you are looking at about 1500-2000 for a good quality bulldog. If he is going to be left for long periods then I wouldn't recommend one as they are very toddler like and don't like to be left alone for long. If you do go ahead make sure you get a crate to let him have his own quiet time in and increase the time he spends in there every 4 days by 10 mins til you reach the desired time. Make sure it has a blanket in there food and fresh water. To house train have a key word to use with the puppy such as toilet pick your dog up and as long as he is vaccinated take him outside and repeat the key word stay out for 5 mins only if the puppy doesn't go to the loo but when you bring him in goes to the loo inside don't shout just repeat your keyword and take him outside even if its to late. Bulldogs are a nervous breed and if you shout at him you will damage him for life and turn him nasty as with all dogs it takes dedication and patience and if you put the time in you will have a well trained loyal companion. Hope this helps.

Well, you can't say it's a bad choice but bulldogs are not that active and playful kind of dogs, they just like to sleep and sleep. They have a very quiet, calm and laid back nature. A bulldog can be a good house dog.
