For a classic horror film I'd say one psychopathic killer that stabs people, lots of secluded people for killing off, a small plot line to make the characters seem interesting, and at least one scene with a girl topless(I'm not being perverted, I am serious that I have never seen a rated R horror movie without at least ONE topless chick)
