    I Am Having A New Whirring Noise Coming From The Engine Of A 89 Volvo Gle 16 V Overhead Cam After Changing The Timing Belts, What Could This Be?

    I am new to Blurtit and thought I'd try to find some one who could help me with this dilemma. After changing the timing belt on a 89 Volvo GLE, 16 valve, overhead cam, I am hearing a light whirring noise. There appeared to be rubbing on the plastic timing belt cover, but I am not sure where to turn now.

    Well the noise looks like the engine noise there is some problem in the engine of your car you need to get it repaired through the mechanic.
