When And How Does One Breathe When Swimming?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The first thing to learn is how to float on your stomach with. Once you have that down the next step is to start kicking while you float with your arms by your side. Your legs will go in an up and down motion called flutter kicking. Then once that is down you can add your arms. The arm makes a circle and when one arm is up the other is down. Now every time you bring your arm out of the water you are taking a stroke. Every three stroke is the best way to breathe. When your right arm is in front of you, you turn your head to the left. The most important part is NOT  to lift your head up. Every inch you lift you head your lower half of your body sinks 2in.
