Should I Be Concerned My Cat Is Trembling And Losing Weight?

We moved in November and he has lost weight, trembles as if cold and follows me around as if very lonely. Appears not to feel well, urine is a little more offensive. Seems disoriented and meows more than usual.

Yes, you should be concerned about your cat's health as she is not acting normal. She might have leukemia and it is very dangerous and contagious. She can also have kidneys, diabetes, thyroid, stress, teeth problems. You must take your cat to vet for complete check up.

It can be separation anxiety as cats are very much touchy about their place where they live. It is acting this way because of this new place. But you should check its body temperature regularly if you think it has caught cold. If it is showing other symptoms, which seem unusual to you then do not ignore it and take it to vet for its thorough check up. Well if it is eating all right and showing no sign of sneezing or coughing then you should not worry about it. Change its diet to some more quality food and give it more time then usual.

thank you for the advise. It makes total sense, as he is now alone during the day where there was someone with him all day before. I will take notice of any other signs but, as of now there is no sneezing or coughing. As this is my baby a better quality of food in not asking to much. Thank you again
