Puppy farms are not good places to buy your new pet puppy from. The people who run puppy farms usually do not care about their animals; to them they are simply products which bring them money. The dogs are often kept in cramped, disgusting conditions and many puppies tend to have health problems.
Often puppies have deadly diseases even before they leave the puppy farm. You can pay anything over £200 for a pedigree puppy at a puppy farm and if you buy one which is ill, you could potentially lose that puppy after just a couple of days.
Not only do they often have health problems, but they also can have bad behaviour problems too. They also sometimes aren't even the pedigrees that they are said to be. Puppy farms are not advertised as puppy farms therefore you may not know that you are buying from one. Usually people living on farms run puppy farm establishments so it is better to check the conditions of the puppies before making a commitment to buy. Overall puppy farms are illegal and cruel and you should not buy any animal from such an establishment.

Puppy farms also known as puppy mills are horrible places to buy puppies from. The puppy site I go to has a link to another site about puppy mills or farms. Check there for more info, and remember your dollar is your vote. If you don't like what you read about the business of puppy mills / farms don't shop there!
