How Do You Make An Erupting Volcano For My School Project?

Hey Logan1!. Making an erupting volcano for your school project can be a lot of fun. I have an idea which is pretty basic and is the one used by many teachers and students( like yourself) participating in their school's science day.
For that you first need an empty small plastic bottle and modeling clay. Place the bottle in a plate or preferably some old newspapers in order to avoid the mess the final explosion would cause. Use the modeling clay to make a mountain around the bottle. Make sure you leave the top of the bottle free. To make your volcano look more original decorate your mountain with twigs, tiny rocks and even plastic animals.
Then add two to three tablespoon of baking soda in the bottle and a few drops of dish washing detergent. Take a container and mix red or yellow food color with vinegar. Finally add this vinegar to the bottle and POOF your volcano would erupt immediately. :)
