Ible is a suffix, a variant of the word "able." The word is an adjective suffix meaning "to be able" or "having the suitability or capacity." Here are some of the words which end in "ible": incorrigible, negligible, reversible, dirigible, audible, accessible, convertible, corruptible, creditable, crucible, invincible, destructible, digestible, divisible, etc

The popular way of adding a suffix to word is by "able" or "ible." The best way to know which suffix is to be used for a particular word is by looking at a particular word. If the word is complete, then the suffix "able" is used, or else "ible" is applied to the end of the word. For instance: if the root word is a complete word like accept, then the word "able" is added to make "acceptable". If the root of the word ends in "e." then the letter is dropped and "able" is added. For example, advise=advisable. If the root word is an incomplete word, then "ible" is added. For example: feasible, horrible, eligible, edible etc.
