I live in Stockport.
I moved from Sheffield to Stockport.
It's a very nice place.
I live in Hazel Grove- it is a nice area with a good local school (Hazel grove high school).
I think you should think about moving to Hazel Grove or Bramhall, but then in the end it's all your choice, where do you live now?

Adswood!!! Not nice - must be the roughest part of Stockport. There is a huge open cast household tip which is going to be concreted over to make a new car parking facility for Manchester Airport. The council estate is notorious for local villains but surprisingly Adswood is bordered by nice areas - Cheadle Hulme, Davenport etc.

Not all parts of adswood are bad. One side of the road is pretty rough but the other side is much nicer! There's a council estate in Cheadle Heath also which is notorious as it houses people that used to live on the famous Gorsey Bank estate, but its still a very nice area to live! What I'm trying to get at is, just because there is a council estate doesn't mean its not a nice place to live!

Try and avoid Adswood! The estate is one of the most notorious in Stockport for villains and there is a large Municipal tip! Surrounding areas such as Davenport and Cheadle Heath and Davenport are much better!!!
