I have started a small event management company and i can tell you some ways to get the finances:
- The most important is to decide about the business and make a strong/appealing business proposal.
- Then find out the sponsors or companies which are interested or related to your business
- You can also find some banks to get you small or medium loans.

Contact the Small Business Association and see if you qualify for a loan. Search their website SBA. Also, search for government grants and websites for women in business.
First you should decide your business. It should be according to your expertise and interests. Then make a feasibility of the business by calculating cost and effectiveness. If you don't have enough money to start your business then you have to go for loan and government grants. You can ask first from your relatives and then apply loan from any bank.
