    You can define obesity by measuring your Body Mass Index, waist circumference, and evaluating the existence of risk factors and comorbidities. Obesity is a state in which the natural energy, saved in the fatty tissue, is augmented to a peak where it is a jeopardy factor for definite health circumstances or enlarged mortality. It is posed as a serious public health problem. Doctors usually agree that men with additional 25% body fat and women with additional 30% body fat are obese.

    Obesity sometime may prove harmful to human beings by causing various disease such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus type 2, sleep apnea, and osteoarthritis. The causes that add to the development of obesity is genetic disorders, underlying illness, certain medications, sedentary lifestyle, a high glycemic diet, weight cycling, eating disorders, stressful mentality, insufficient sleep and smoking sensation.
