 The Maldivian currency name is rufiyaa which was introduced in 1981 so you need this currency in Maldives. However you can also use US dollars for purchasing on big stores. |

Use dollar, I had no problems, you can change some dollars when you arrive. I paid the 90% with card, the exchange rate was very convenient. Good Trip! |
