Hi,
If you have resources and want to have best protection for your data (network data or personal data) while considering performance, you should go for RAID 10.
RAID 10 is a combination of RAID 0 and RAID 1 - providing data storage protection as well as high data transfer rates.
To implement RAID 10, you need at least 4 separate disks.
If you want RAID for personal use at home because you need high performance for data transfer then you should implement RAID 0;
and if you want RAID for data protection reasons only, then you should do RAID 1
Hope it helps.
