I Had Kidney Stones And Now My Left Lymph Node In My Groin Is Swollen. Is That Normal?

Answer Question

Swelling may be due to fighting off infection. Or may just be due to pain caused by kidney stones. Either way,  it would be a good idea to have this checked out.

I passed the stone about a week ago and the lymph node has been swollen for about three weeks. Went to the emergency room and they took an ultrasound to rule out a blood clot. They weren't too concern. Went to the Urologist, he said I didn't need any antibiotics just give it time. Going on Monday to my primary doctor.

Thanks, I did get an MRI, seems a root nerve is pressing, that might be it? Not sure, still swollen after a month now going to see the neuro surgeon on Monday. I guess it's a guessing game. One test after another, one doctor after another.
    Thanks.

      Hello Casey,

In layman's terms the lymphatic system is responsible for escorting toxins from the various bodily terrains and circulatory systems. When mentioning toxins here, I am referring to compounds that burden the body's optimal functioning. Some of these toxins may include: Dead cells, synthetic compounds, resins from processed and cooked food, crystallized vegetable fat (which oftentimes collects and embeds in the kidneys and liver), heavy metals, various pesticide and herbicide residues and their byproducts, radiation and EMF's as well as a plethora of other chemical compounds.

We come into contact with these materials quite readily in our industrially-driven and toxic world. They are in our 'so-called' foods, lotions, bathing products, toothpastes, hygienic cleansers of all sorts, tap water, vaccines, pharmaceutical drugs as well as herbs and most supplements and vitamins, computers and electronics (they emit EMF's and radiation constantly, causing radiation to store in cells and destroy healthy living tissue) and on and on.

Because of this, most humans have bodies laced with volatile toxins. A lot of individuals stop their body from eliminating these various toxins by ingesting or injecting more synthetic compounds to prevent natural detoxifications such as colds, flu, and infections. In some cases, people cannot detoxify properly or even at all due to a number of reasons. Excess fat stores are important in the event of elimination via the form of cold or flu. This is due to the probability that most toxicity stores within fat in the human body (specifically spinal tissue, brain, bone marrow and organs).

Colds and flu take place in the presence of bacteria, which actually allow the body to break down toxic or dead cellular terrain and various other fibrous masses throughout the body. If in the midst of cold, fever, flu, infection, sweat, etc., we make the choice to stop this natural elimination process (via chemical compounds such as antibiotics or other suppression drugs—natural or otherwise), than we also allow these various toxic masses or volatile toxins to remain embedded and further impair our overall viability and gravitation towards true balance and health. On top of this, the new addition of drugs further impairs our overall functioning which lessens homeostasis and sets the body up for future need of infection or detoxification via living agents such as bacteria. The body eventually resorts to virus (which is well beyond the scope of this response) and large masses of fibrous tissue --tumors/cancer (also well beyond the scope of this response).

That being said, your lymph node(s) appearing swollen is completely natural and normal in your case and should be welcomed whole-heartedly. You should rejoice in the fact that your lymphatic system is functioning properly, as many dis-eased individuals do not have such luck. The lymph is binding with toxicity in your system and escorting it out of the body. White blood cells virtually act like magnets, arresting and transporting toxins from the various terrains and circulatory systems.

If you develop infection, see it through. Don’t make war with the living agents--bacteria (which are your body’s preferred clean-up crew). Instead of contemplating antibiotics, nourish your body with the highest quality food. If you are interested further in what I might mean by highest quality food, let me know (hint: It isn’t fruits and vegetables per say). If you have any questions at all about anything I’ve stated here, let me know.

May you develop certainty in True Health.
