Tarrant Crawford is a small village that lies at the end of the Tarrant Valley located in Dorset, in England. The Tarrant Crawford is mainly a farm that consists of a few houses. The Ordinance Survey maps show the position of the Tarrant Crawford at the position of the Tarrant Abbey. Although Tarrant Abbey is a much smaller village than the Tarrant Crawford it ahs only three houses and it is considered as a separate village by the locals. The Tarrant Abbey farm is very famous for the cross road sign which reads;
"This wayside cross was restored & set on new steps on the old site by many friends of tarrant crawford anno dom mdccccxiv."
