Im guessing you have a son that has just started school, He might be unhappy but he might just be getting use to the enviorment, and others being around him! I wouldnt worry the next time he goes say try and make some friends as soon as he makes friends he will be more comfortable with being there!

I would give him a yummy snack, then tell him a good child hood memory story about when u were in school. Then, finally give him some advice about how 2 get good grades, get good friends,how to act and so on...

That seems like a sure way to connect emotional trauma with eating snack food. Such a connection seems a route to obesity or other future problems. It seems to me that you first want to affirm your child's excellent judgment about school. Then, together, you need to decide how the two of you are going to deal with it. Stick to the facts and stay away from guilt, or dictating what will happen. Treat the child with the respect you would show a valued friend.
