What Is The Approximate Cost For Tattoo Removal?

Answer Question

3 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

It could run in the $1,000 of dollars cause its done thru a dr w/ a laser. Thats why people w/ tats that don't want them anymore get cover tats...much much cheaper. It also hurts a hell of alot more to get it removed than it hurts to have 1 put on. The way the laser works is it disperses the ink so to speak in smaller pieces. Typically theres 2 or 3 visits for removal & in due time...the ink just gets dissolved into the skin tissues to where you cant see it anymore.

The cost for laser removal depends upon the size, ink color and skin color.  A small black ink tattoo on a light-skinned person will cost less than a large green tattoo on a darker-skinned person.  Some ink, for example, white ink and fluorescent ink may not be removable at all by laser, and would require excision.

Depends on the method you use... I know of a cream that is only $40 an ounce.
