You have not mentioned that which surgery was adopted for gall bladder removal, open gall bladder removal or  laparoscopic gallbladder surgery. The former take two weeks for complete recover and later take much shorter time. As you got surgery 5 days ago, it will take time to get Ok. The prognosis of gall bladder removal is good and peoples can live their normal life. For more details, visit Gall bladder surgery.

Anytime you have surgery when anesthesia is given, it is not unusual for a person to not have a healthy appetite.  You may be smelling some left over odors from being opened or perhaps tasting secretions from the gallbladder. After five days I would not worry. Just keep an eye on your diet. There are somethings you should eliminate after gallbladder surgery. You say you are getting full. That is not normal. What is probably happening is is distasteful and you are attributing it to being full. If this should be a problem after a couple of weeks, then I would notify my Doctor. However if the problem is going to cause you to be in a state where you are more than concerned, contact him now. A healthy mind is an upper when you are trying to heal.   I wish you well.  Also remember  certain foods and meats can give you a fuller filling. Maybe you should try another diet that does not require you system to work harder to digest it.  No greasy foods.
