I would imagine so. I'm not into this type of things but new breeds have to come from somewhere. You could call them Turkeys. (sorry, couldn't resist)

Yes,of course they are called mules but mules cant reproduce .I'm from Georgia my uncle used to plow his fields with mules they are stubborn creatures but hard workers.Some folks call such breeding an abomination because you cant breed a chicken to a goat but it has been done for generations,regardless.

Yes,they can. When the donkey is the father and the horse is the mother then the offspring is called a mule.When the horse is the father and the donkey is the mother then they are called a hinny.Mules tend to be very sturdy and good at doing work.Jinnets tend to be slightly smaller.Mules resemble a donkey more then a horse,and hannay's resemble a horse more. Both mules and hannay's are generally more intelligent then horses and more co-operative then donkeys.

Yes they can be bred together and the hybrid for it is a hinnies, for both a donkey stallion and horse mare to breed.
