Karachi Stock Exchange is the biggest Stock exchange of Pakistan, located in Karachi, Sindh. This stock exchange was found in the year 1947 so it is undoubtedly, the oldest stock exchange also. It has 671 Pakistan and overseas listings with a Market Capitalization of US $73 billion and a volume of US $ 12 billion.
The exchange session is designed as pre-market session. Its timings are from 09:15am to 09:45am. The Normal trading sessions are timed from 09:45am to 02:15pm. During this time the Stock exchange manages to conduct, regulate and control the trade or business of buying and selling of shares, scrips, Participation term certificates, Modarba Certificates, stocks, bonds, debentures, debenture stocks, government papers, loans, and all the other instruments and securities.
