This history making year is one to remember. We have a Afro-American, and a female. Which will be a good President is more or less as other elections of Presidency.  Choose the one you "hope" will be the best president. People change under certain circumstances, and that includes leaders of our great place.  So we can never be sure of the "goodness" of an elected official.

I might have supported him until I began learning who his friends are.  I have no use for racists.  There is no way I am going to be convinced that in 20 years, he never knew that the people whose company he chooses to keep, people he holds in "the highest regard"... Wright, Farrakhan, Pfleger, William Ayers, and Bernadette Dorn... Were a bunch of America hating race-baiters and terrorists.  And if he truly WAS unaware of something so obvious, it demonstrates that he is too stupid to be President.

Obama recently said he was caught by surprise by the outrage about Trinity Church.  He said he viewed it as normal, traditional, christian worship.   Is that supposed to make me feel BETTER?  He considers that sort of thing to be TRADITIONAL CHRISTIAN WORSHIP?  I find that revelation to be the most disturbing of all.

Pinakbet, you say you hope people will not be biased, but if you support Obama, you better hope people continue being biased.  When a full 92% of blacks are supporting him, then it is obvious that their support is based upon one thing... His color.  So, if people stop being biased... He would lose votes.

I think he would be a bigger puppet than GWB!  He will be in constant fear and constantly under the microscope.  He will make a terrible president (even though I don't think he will win) - Hillary would probably have handled it with much more experience (which we need during these times).  How this (his nomination) happened, I don't know (did we, the intelligent citizens, not vote or something?), but it's a terrible mistake.  I'm a democrat and hope desperately that we answer to President McCain for the next 4 years and then try to get it right in 2012!
