Where Is Clear Lake?

The city of Clear Lake in located in the city of Houston in Texas. Houston is located in the southeast Harris County in the state of Texas in the United States of America. It is the second largest community in the city of Houston that was based on a master plan, the first being the community of Kingwood. While most of the community of Clear Lake City is situated in the city of Houston, a small portion to the east of Clear Lake City lies within the city limits of the city of Pasadena.

The community of Clear Lake is located adjacent to the Johnson Space Centre. The Johnson Space Centre is operated by NASA. The community of Clear Lake City is also the home of two other major aerospace giants, Boeing and Lockheed-Martin. Clear Lake City derives its name from Clear Lake, a lake located to the south of the Johnson Space Centre. The Clear Lake separates Harris County from Galveston County. It also connects Clear Creek to Galveston Bay.
