    You need to seek advice from your local benefits office. There are a number of benefits available to people who are suffering from long-term illness. You need to make an appointment to discuss which of these you are entitled to.

    It is helpful to seek advice from the Citizens advice Bureau, your local library or phone book will have the address and phone number.

    Also make an appointment with the Benefits Office to discuss help with rent or mortgage pre-payments and also other housing charges
