Introduced to the First United States Congress in 1789 by James Madison limiting the powers of the federal government of the United States, The United States Bill of Rights was ratified to protect the rights of Americans, residents and visitors on United States territory. Can anyone list all ten?

    2--freedom to bear arms
    3--freedom from having to have soldiers based on your property
    4--freedom against unreasonable searches
    5--due process of law, protection from double jeopardy, protecction from having to testify against self
    6--speedy trial, has the right to face the accusor and know what crimes accused of
    7--right to trial of a jury of peers
    8--protection against cruel and unusual punishment
    9--(?)
    10--anything not specifically addressed by the constitution falls to the responsibility of the States.
