What Is The Differences Between Algorithm & Flow Chart?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Algorithm is a finite step-by-step procedure to accomplish a particular task. Algorithm is a ordered collection of finite number of steps or instructions. It is nothing but an textual representation of the program.

Flow chart is the pictorial or graphical representation of the algorithm. In flow chart,we will represent the steps by using certain symbols. The data flow can be easily shown in the flow chart which is not possible in algorithm.

By a glance at flow chart one can easily understand the logic of the procedure rather than with the algorithm.
