    Madagascar is an island that is famous for the unique biodiversity, but more importantly, a large number of varieties of species found on the islands are endemic to it. If we take the case of amphibians, it is approximately 99%. Given below is a chart that shows the number of species found on the islands along with the number of endemic species and their percentage:
