What Vitamin Deficiency Looks Like In Toenails?

I have white tipped discoloration on my toenails and they break easily. I take a lot of medications and am not sure if this is the cause.

It's the same with your finger nails. The white specks of color mean you need more calcium. It's an easy fix. Take calcium vitamens. There is also a calcium nail polish that avon sells. Your meds you are on can be part of the problem, but it's not that big of a deal. Just crummy looking. Good Luck.

I have this same issue and it really bothers me. I am going to try a regimen of calcium and vitamin D supplements for about 90 days and see if I notice an improvement. Thanks.
