    Does The Last Supper Matter?

    I'm doing a re project and i want to know if the last supper is really important or if it's not.

    Yes it does matter because it is the last meal Jesus shared with his apostles and it is important in this world because many worship the communion.

    As we participate in The Lord's Supper, we are commemorating
    God's mercy toward us. As we take the bread, we remember Christ's body which he
    freely gave for us. He took upon himself our sins. As we take the wine, we remember
    Christ's shed blood which cleanses us from all unrighteousness. We do this with a
    thankful and grateful heart — that God so loved us that he gave us his only son to be
    our Passover lamb sacrifice.
