Lincoln Child has always had a passion for writing. As a child he would always he would always write short stories. After getting a degree and majoring in English he packed his bags and left for New York where he got a job as an assistant editor at a press named St. Martins and then full time editor. There he edited and reviewed several books however by the 1987, he let the publishing world and joined Met life, where he interpreted technical programming and system analysis.
But then he realized his true happiness lies in writing and thus again got back to writing, but this time took it even more seriously and started full time writing. Ands that is when the world witnessed Relic, his first ever book. This book is now made into a movie, which has been quite a success.
