Hi Loveya,  As with any surgery, yes, there can be dangers.    You have to be darned sure that the doctor you choose is REALLY qualified to do this before you allow him/her to work on you.  I think the best thing you could do is to set up an appointment with your eye doctor to discuss it and ask his advice.  Good luck, and please let me know what you decide!  Jo.

Yes, you need to do your research and make sure you are well aware of the facts and potential risks. Laser eye surgery is not for everybody. I Googled "lasik disaster"( http://www.google.com/search?source=ig&hl=en&rlz=&=&q=lasik+disaster&b
tnG=Google+Search) and read some stories of people who didnt have successful outcomes and how they're affected by negative outcomes.

There are alternatives eg. Contact lenses, glasses and eye exercises
    ( http://www.improve-your-eyesight-naturally.com ).

Good luck and thanks for the answer Jojo
