Its in the socelean ruins when you go in go to your top right, lower left, top right, top left, top left, then lower left and it is the second poke-ball in the square.

Its in the cowboy ruins (it wont let me say real name) and to get there is the top right, low left, top right, top left, top left, and lower left and it is the second top poke-ball in the square.

look for what HMs u want to find here:

-rock smash: U can get that in the cave, the traveler will give u when u step in the cave.
-cut: U can get that from the wind mill event.
-surf: U can get that from the elder in the ruin after u defeat the team galactic boss.
-fly: U can get that inside the galactic hideout
-strength: U can get that from riley on iron island.
-defog: U can get that in the ruin in Solaceon Town
-rock climb: U can get that in the snow behind the house.
-waterfall: U can get that from jasmine.

Well its as simple as that just go to the great marsh in Pastoria city and as soon as you get in turn right and you'll see an ace trainer talk to him and he will give you Defog

Go to solocean town where the daycare is turn right and enter the ruins find 4 items and there it is in one of the items

You guys are getting mixed up. Only in pokemon Diamond and pearl the ace trainer gives you the hm defog. In pokemon platinum you can get in the unknown ruins.
