What Is FLA?

FLA generally refers to Forest Lake Academy which is a private high school found on the outskirts of Orlando, Florida. The school is administered by the Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.

The initial academy started by the Florida Conference of Seventh-Day Adventist was known as Winyah Lake Junior Academy based in Orlando. Over the period of years the school stated expanding and was later shifted to its present location in the year 1926 and was later renamed to Forest Lake Academy.

The initial classes were conducted in a farm house, and Dormitories were constructed during the late 1920's and later a management building was created in the year 1937. The campus is based in the unincorporated Seminole County, Florida between the Apopka and Altamonte Springs.
